What you'll be doing

Avira Technologies, an IT services firm based in Lahore, delivers technology-driven strategic solutions to clients across industries. We are expanding our security services team and seeking a skilled CCTV Installer to join our field operations. The role involves installing, configuring, and testing CCTV systems at client sites to ensure reliable surveillance operations and integration with existing infrastructure.

• Install and configure analog and IP cameras, recorders (NVR/DVR), power supplies, and PoE switches according to site plans.
• Cable management, including routing, terminating, and testing coaxial, network, and power cabling; ensure tidy, code-compliant installations.
• System integration with local networks, remote viewing, mobile access, and third-party security platforms when required.
• Site survey and planning assess camera placement, lighting conditions, and connectivity needs to produce accurate installation layouts.
• Testing and commissioning validate camera angles, recording schedules, motion detection, event triggers, and storage settings; perform system health checks.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting respond to on-site service calls, diagnose faults, replace defective components, and optimize system performance.

You will work from our Lahore office and travel to client sites across the city. The role requires adherence to safety practices, punctual client communication, and coordination with the Avira project delivery and network teams to ensure timely completion of deployments.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience installing and commissioning CCTV systems (analog and IP).
• Competence with NVR/DVR configuration, camera calibration, and PoE switch setup.
• Hands-on ability to run, terminate, and test coaxial and Cat5e/Cat6 cabling; use of cable testers and crimping tools.
• Familiarity with video codecs, resolution settings, frame rates, and storage retention planning.
• Basic networking knowledge: IP addressing, subnetting, port forwarding, and remote access setup.
• Ability to read site drawings, produce as-built documentation, and follow installation checklists.
• Skilled in troubleshooting video quality, latency issues, and intermittent recording problems.
• Comfortable working on ladders and in rooftops/utility spaces with strong attention to safety procedures.
• Good verbal communication for client handovers and coordination with cross-functional teams.
